How we relate to ShareClip
ShareReco is published by ShareClip Editorial Office, the company behind the share house listing site ShareClip. When you open a listing from one of our articles, you land on that house on ShareClip.
How we choose the houses we feature
The houses on this site are selected from our own paid placement slots. In other words, we gather the houses whose operators have taken a recommended slot on ShareClip, and our editors group them by area and by theme. This is not a ranking produced by an independent body, and it is not based on votes from readers.
The notes our editors add come from reading the listing data published on ShareClip: the nearest station, the rent, who else lives there, what the shared spaces offer. Our editors do not visit the houses we feature. So you will not find first-hand accounts from people who have lived there, or anything that can only be judged on site.
How the information is kept up to date
Listing information is updated once a day, automatically, from the data on ShareClip. Vacancies change from day to day, so a house may already be full by the time you read about it. Check the listing page itself for current vacancies and application terms.
The articles themselves, including the area write-ups and the criteria we use, are written by our editors and revised as needed, separately from the listing data.
